Thanks for visiting!
I was awarded the Best Graduating Student Award, Class of 2012 at BITS Pilani. I chose to pursue my Masters from Stanford University thereafter.
My explorations at Stanford were driven by my deep interest in perception, graphics & human centered design. It is here that I also got the opportunity to organize the biggest Energy Week as part of the Stanford Energy Club.
I was a design consultant for various projects at the d.School, where I helped companies like SAP, Novartis, Nordstorm and SF MOMA with different design challenges. This was also a time where I facilitated several design thinking workshops.
I travelled to Trinity College as part of my product design specialization - ME310. During this time, I was a design consultant for AppHaus Dublin where I designed the next generation remote collaboration experience for work-environments.
I was chosen to be a part of the Technology Leadership Program, which is an elite cohort of individuals empowered to be the champions of innovation initiatives & entrepreneurial thinking at the Integrated Retail Labs. The program had executive sponsorship from the CIO's office, and enabled me to manage the highest priority initiatives for the company, from inception to execution.
I helped redesign the healthcare experience usign the Google Glass. Designing for Glass or any Augmented reality platform is very different from designing for web or mobile. It was at this time that I applied the UX best practices I learned at the Stanford design school. As a result, a Google Glass application was developed and was later presented at the SAP Tech Ed Conference in Las Vegas, Nevada.

Being a Product Manager in cross-functional product teams taught me a lot about the fundamentals of management and thought leadership. This experience further sparked my interest, as a result I decided to pursue a graduate degree in Management Science and Engineering. My focus areas were product strategy, organizational behavior & decision making.
During my two year stay at the global telecommunications company, I spent 3 months in Singapore deploying Telecom Cloud Solutions to customers in the Region Southeast Asia and Oceania (RASO). I also led the Lean & Agile Development charter at Ericsson’s R&D site in Hungary.
During this time I also helped organize 3 global hackathons focussed on Internet of Things (IoT) and future Media Technologies. These events resulted in more than 50 innovative prototypes to help Ericsson shapr the future of networked society.
I'm extremely excited to join NVIDIA on their journey to create jaw-dropping products that delight consumers.

Amit is a great team player with immense attention to detail. I worked with him on a Network Function Virtualization (NFV) application for Singtel. During this time I found him to be very diligent. Amit has a go-getter attitude. Even though he was new to Cloud and NFV, he went an extra mile to learn the details and help the team.
Amit is responsible, inquisitive and sincere. He has a flair for interacting with people as well as working well independently.
Amit is very dedicated and sincere in his work, besides having the knack of taking calculated risks and new initiatives. His passion for technical details as well as slogging it out till near perfection in his work is commendable. Moreover, he has the spirit of inquiry and getting to the "know-why" and "know-how".
Placing user at the center of the product development process helps create delightful products, where beauty meets utility and form becomes functional. I can help teams build products that are as beautiful as they are functional.
Rapid prototyping is the first step in creating exceptional products. I am experienced in using a breadth of hardware/software prototyping tools and can help teams quickly iterate through new forms, features, and interactions for constant feedback cycles.
